2 Corinthians 12:7-10 ''And because of the surpassing greatness of the revelations, for this reason, to keep me from exalting myself, there was given me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, to keep me from exalting myself! Paul replied to God vs 10, ''Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ's sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong.'' III. God Has A Purpose For Your Thorn Vs 7 keep me from exalting myself- Song: He Giveth More Grace ''He giveth more grace when the burdens grow greater, He sendeth more strength when the labors increase; To added afflictions, He added His mercy, To multiplied trials, His multiplied peace. When we have exhausted our store of endurance, When our strength has failed, 'ere the day is half done; When we reach the end of our horded resources, Our Father's full giving has only begun. Fear not that thy needs shall exceed His provision, Our God ever yearns His resources to share; Lean hard on the arm everlasting availing, The Father, both thee and thy load, will upbear. His love has no limits; His grace has no measure, His power has no boundary known unto men. For out of His infinite riches in Jesus, He giveth, and giveth, and giveth again.''
