    Why Am I Here?
Series: The Big Questions of Life #2
    Isaiah 43:7

Physicist Lawrence Krauss - Arizona State University. ''We're just a bit of pollution. If you got rid of us, the universe would be largely the same. We're completely irrelevant.''

Genesis 1:1 ''In the beginning God (the eternal God, the one who is before the beginning, the one is before anything because He's eternal. The eternal God, Elohim) created the heavens and the earth.''

    I. God Created Everything With Purpose

Proverbs 16: 4, ''The LORD has made everything for its own purpose, even the wicked for the day of evil.''

Genesis 1: 26, “let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth. And God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female, He created them.''

John 4, ''God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.''

''Bring everyone who is called by My name, whom I created for My glory, whom I have formed and made'' (Isaiah 43:7 NASV).

''Holy, holy, holy , holy, holy is the LORD God of Hosts; the whole earth is full of His glory,'' Isaiah 6: 3 NASV

''Whether then you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.'' 1 Corinthians 10:31 NASV

    Does God Really Exist?
    Genesis 1:1
Series: The Big Questions of Life #1

“First this: God created the heavens and the earth all you see, all you don’t see. Earth was a soup of nothingness, a bottomless emptiness, an inky blackness.” ~ Genesis 1:1 (The Message)

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” ~ Genesis 1:1 (NASV)

    I. The Bible Presents God

The scriptures never try to prove the existence of God rather Scripture simply presents God. Scripture does not argue for God’s existence. Scripture does not try to explain the existence of God. WHY?

Psalm 90: 2 ''Before the mountains were born, or You gave birth to the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting You are God.'' (NASV)

MOSES IS THE ONE GOD CALLED TO WRITE GENESIS – EXODUS – LEVITICUS - NUMBERS - DEUTERONOMY

Moses said, ''In the beginning God...''

II. The Bible Gives Evidence For The Existence of God

Romans 1:18 - 20 ''For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness.'' (NASV)

They hold back the truth in unrighteousness. Why?

''Because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse.'' (NASV)

Evident- ''...that which is known about God is evident within them; because God made it evident to them.'' means apparent, manifest, known, obvious. Plainly recognized.

Psalm 19: 1-4 ''The heavens are telling of the glory of God, and their expanse is declaring the work of His hands. Day to day pours forth speech, and night to night reveals knowledge. There is no speech, nor are there words; their voice is not heard. Their line has gone out through all the earth and their utterances to the end of the world.'' (NASV)

III. The Bible Presents Jesus As The Son of God

John 1: 1-4 ''In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being by Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.

Vs 14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, glory as the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.'' (NASV)
