Sunday Bible Study at 9 am
Sunday Praise Service at 10 am
Wednesday Supper at 6 pm
Wednesday Bible Study at 6:30 pm
Let’s face it there are many churches these days where you can get lost in the shuffle. Just become one more face in the crowd there to be entertained. That is not Lifepoint. We are not your average church, and it’s that way for a reason. It’s that way for a purpose. We are a family.

Lifepoint fellowship is a Christ Centered family focusing on spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ through love, humility and repentance.  We teach the Bible, verse by verse, chapter by chapter. All sinners are welcome!

Instead of subdued lighting and loud distractions you will find an intimate setting where real spiritual issues are talked about. It’s a haven from all the noise that bombards our lives in the 21st century. It’s a place to grow, to learn, and to heal.

We invite you to join us for an experience that’s different from what you’ve come to expect from church. An honest way to engage with God and share that experience with the people you care about, and who care about you.

Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying favor of all the people. The Importance of The Gift Of Mercy In The Body of Christ Today #2
    Romans 12:8

“Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy” ~ Matthew 5:7

    I. To Show Mercy We Must Release Judgmental Attitudes

“Do you have the nerve to say, ‘Let me wash your face for you’ when your own face distorted by contempt? It’s this whole traveling road-show mentality all over again, playing a holier-than-thou part instead of just living your part. Wipe that ugly sneer off your own face, and you might be fit to offer a washcloth to your neighbor.”

    Sep 8, 2019
Do You Have The Wisdom of God or The Wisdom of The World?
    James 3:13-18

Bill Gothard “wisdom is seeing life from God's point of view.”

"Wisdom is the principal thing." ~ Proverbs 4:7

"Wisdom is better than strength." ~ Ecclesiastes 9:16

"Wisdom is better than gold." ~Proverbs 16:16

"The price of wisdom is above rubies." ~ Job 28:28

    I. THE WISDOM OF THE WORLD

Vs 14 “But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, do not be arrogant and so lie against the truth.”

    ''bitter'' describes an ''acrid sharpness''

    ''jealousy'' describes a ''heat''

Bitterness is because we have listened more to the voice of evil than we have to God.

Excessive pride is always a destructive thing. It ruins our relationships with others and also ruins our relationship with God.

Vs 15 “this wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, natural, demonic.”

Vs 16 “for where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there is disorder and every evil thing.”

    II. THE WISDOM of God

    (a) PURE
Comes from the word holy. Pure from fault.

    (b) PEACEABLE Loving peace. Right relationships between people, built on mutual trust.

    (c) GENTLE Reasonably fair, equitably just. Tender, careful not to harm or hurt.

    (d) EASY TO BE ENTREATED Means compliant, easily approachable.

    (e) FULL OF MERCY Caring for someone in trouble, even if it is his own fault. Not giving someone what they deserve in the form of punishment.

    (f) FULL OF GOOD FRUITS Full of good deeds. "Jesus went about doing good." Matthew 7:17 ... "Even so, every good tree bringeth forth good fruit, but a corrupt tree bringeth forth not good fruit."

    (g) WITHOUT PARTIALITY Undivided, not wavering back and forth like a reed shaken in the wind. Not vacillating.

    (h) WITHOUT HYPOCRISY Not deceptive, honest, always the same no matter who you are with or where you ar No pretending.

III. How Do We Receive God’s Wisdom?

James 1:5 ... "If any of you lack wisdom ..."

James 1:5-6 ... "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God who giveth to all, and upbraideth not, and it shall be given him.”

James 4:2 ... "Ye have not, because you ask not."

Proverbs 29:15 ... "The rod and reproof give wisdom, but a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame."

(Matthew 7:24), "Whosoever heareth these savings of mine, and doeth them. I will liken him unto a wise man mho built his house upon a rock ... "

What The Bible Has To Say About America And Israel
    2 Peter 3:3-4

"Know this first of all, that in the last days mockers will come with their mocking, following after their own lusts, and saying, 'Where is the promise of His coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all continues just as it was from the beginning of creation."

“ Get out of your country, from your family and from your father’s house, to a land that I will show you. I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”~Genesis 12:1-3

Genesis 12:3 “in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

Genesis 17 “between me and you and your descendants after you in their generations, for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and your descendants after you. Also I give to you and your descendants after you in the land in which you are a stranger, all the land of Canaan, as an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.”

    James 1:26

James 3 “tongue is a fire, world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole person, sets the whole course of his life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell.” Vs 6

Matthew 15:17-19 “Do you not understand that everything that goes into the mouth passes into the stomach, and is eliminated? But the things that proceed out of the mouth come from within the heart, and that defile us. For out of within heart come evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, slanders.”

“there is no truth in him, when he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies” ~ John 8:44

“I CAN DO EVERYTHING THROUGH HIM WHO GIVES ME STRENGTH” ~ Philippians 4:13

James 1:18 “be quick to listen and slow to speak”

3:1 “Let not many of you become teachers, my brethren, knowing that as such we will incur a stricter judgment.”

The Message paraphrase “Do not become in a rush to become a teacher

3:2 “for we all stumble in many ways. If the leader does not stumble in what he says he is perfect,

“if we put bits into the horses’ mouth so that they will obey us, we will direct the entire body”

About the Scriptures
We believe the entire Bible is the inspired Word of God and that men were moved by the Spirit of God to write the very words of Scripture. Therefore, we believe the Bible is without error.

(Psalm 119:160; Psalm 12:6-7; Proverbs 30:5; 11 Timothy 3:16; 11 Peter 1:19-21)

About God
We believe in one God who exists in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Three distinct persons but without division of nature, essence or being. Co-equal in power and glory and having a distinct ministry in God’s relation to His creation and people.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the second member of the Trinity (the Son of God) who became flesh to reveal God to man and to become the Savior of the lost world.

(Genesis 1:1; Exodus 15:11; Deuteronomy 6:4; Psalm 83:18;Matthew 28:19; John 10:30; 15, 26; Acts 5:3-4)

About Mankind
We believe that mankind was created in the image of God to have fellowship with Him but became alienated in that relationship through sinful disobedience. As a result, man is incapable of regaining a right relationship with God through his own effort alone.

(Genesis 1:27; Psalm 51:5; Romans 3:23; Romans 5:12-21; 1 Corinthians 2:14; Galatians 3:11)

About Salvation
We believe that the blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the sole basis for the forgiveness of sin. Therefore, salvation occurs only when people place their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as sufficient payment for their sin. (Ephesians 2: 8-9;We believe that the blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the sole basis for the forgiveness of sin. Therefore, salvation occurs only when people place their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as sufficient payment for their sin.

(Ephesians 2: 8-9; Titus 3:5; John 1:12; John 3:14; John 10:28-29, Romans 8:1; Philippians 1:6; 11 Peter 3:9; 1 John 2:2; 1 Corinthians 15:1-4)

We believe that mankind was created in the image of God to have fellowship with Him but became alienated in that relationship through sinful disobedience. As a result, man is incapable of regaining a right relationship with God through his own effort alone.

About Heaven and Hell
The Bible teaches there is a literal Heaven being prepared for the believers of God and a literal Hell being prepared for those who say no to the Lord Jesus Christ.

(John 14:1-6; Revelation 20:11-15; Matthew 25:41, 45-46; Luke 16:19-31)

About the Church
We believe that the church is the body of Christ, of which Jesus Christ is the head. The members of the church are those who have trusted by faith the finished work of Christ.

The local church is to be obedient to the Great Commission, to observe the ordinance of baptism, and the observance of the Lord’s Supper

The purpose of the church is to glorify God by loving Him and by making Him known to the lost world.

(Acts 2:38; Acts 16:30-31; 1 Corinthians 11:23-32; 1 Corinthians 12:13; Ephesians 1:22-23; Ephesians 4:11-15; Galatians 1:22).

Where Can I Serve?

Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of this church is our mission to the world. It begins in our own community, and spreads overseas to every nation. Church members are involved in a variety of ministries from things as simple as washing the church vehicles, to preparing the church bulletins.

Music & Drama

God-honoring worship is something we strive for. Many church members get involved in our music and drama ministry. Some play their instruments. Some are vocalists. Still others get involved in drama. These volunteers are an important part of the ministry of our church, using their talents and gifts to glorify God.

Media & Technology

Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege of this church. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for kingdom purposes. All of our weekly sermons are uploaded to our website in audio format. We also maintain an active Facebook feed for additional church communication.

Our Children’s Ministry offers Sunday School classes for the following ages from 9:00 AM – 9:45 AM and kids’s church from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM every Sunday morning:
