    Ezekiel 28 & Isaiah 14 his name was Lucifer means “Son of the morning” or “Shinning star”
    Full of ambition and pride
    Angels are created beings with free-will and Lucifer had “I” problems Isaiah 14 Lucifer said, “I will make my throne above all the other stars above heaven.  I will set my throne on the mountain. I will ascend and I will be like God. I am going up and I am going all the way to the top.”
     Bible says, “Pride goes before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall"
    Rebuked and thrown out of heaven by God
    God judged “You are going down, - all the way to the bottom” Satan – means adversary
    Devil – means accuser
    Mentioned 177 times in Bible
    II. We Need To Know His Organization
    Bible says, “there is spiritual wickedness in high places”
    Means demons are involved in the political process – governmental leadership.
    III. What Is Satan’s Goal In Your Life?
    Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.” ~ 1 Peter 5:8
    Be self-controlled means be watchful and stay awake
    Place yourself under the control of the Lord Jesus Christ
    Develop self control – because we will face fierce and relentless spiritual opposition from Satan & his demons.
    Your adversary – means an enemy who is seriously hostile and aggressive Devil means malicious enemy who slanders and attacks 3 times Jesus calls him “the ruler of this world” He is in charge of the world system and the demons Devour- means gulp down, goal is not to wound but destroy

    To tempt us
    Genesis 3 he comes to Eve as the tempter and lies.  Bible says “he is a liar and the father of all lies”
    He accuses us of being unworthy
    Bible says “He is the accuser of the brethren”
    He. hates God and he hates believers
