Returning In September
Wednesday Supper at 6 pm
Wednesday Bible Study at 6:30 pm
Let’s face it there are many churches these days where you can get lost in the shuffle. Just become one more face in the crowd there to be entertained. That is not Lifepoint. We are not your average church, and it’s that way for a reason. It’s that way for a purpose. We are a family.

Lifepoint fellowship is a Christ Centered family focusing on spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ through love, humility and repentance.  We teach the Bible, verse by verse, chapter by chapter. All sinners are welcome!

Instead of subdued lighting and loud distractions you will find an intimate setting where real spiritual issues are talked about. It’s a haven from all the noise that bombards our lives in the 21st century. It’s a place to grow, to learn, and to heal.

We invite you to join us for an experience that’s different from what you’ve come to expect from church. An honest way to engage with God and share that experience with the people you care about, and who care about you.

    The Evil Lies Of Satan
    Ezekiel 28:11-19

''We're not born of fornication. We have one Father, even God.''

Jesus answered ''You are of your father, the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. You were in Eden, the garden of God; every precious stone was your covering. The ruby, the topaz, and the diamond; the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper. The sapphire, the turquoise, and the emerald. And the gold, the workmanship of your settings and sockets was in you on the day that you were created. They were prepared. You were the anointed cherub who covers...''

vs 15, ''You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created until unrighteousness was found in you. By the abundance of your trade you were internally filled with violence, and you sinned. Therefore, I have cast you as profane from the mountain of God, and I have destroyed you, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.''

    (1) The sin of pride
Isaiah 14, ''How you have fallen from heaven, O star of the morning...''

''I'm too beautiful. I'm too glorious.

    (2) the Sin of ingratitude.

    1 Peter 2:13-17

“Submit yourselves for the Lord’s sake to every authority instituted among men: whether to the king, as the supreme authority, or to governors, who are sent by him to punish those who do wrong and to commend those who do right. For it is God’s will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish men. Live as free men, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as servants of God. Show proper respect to everyone: Love the brotherhood of believers, fear God, honor the king.”

    Romans 12:1-2

Romans 12:1 “I urge you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.”

    I. Because God Is God of The Universe

Romans 11:33 "Oh, the depth of the riches, both of the wisdom and knowledge of God; how unfathomable, unsearchable, are His judgments and unfathomable His ways. For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who has become His counselor, or who has first given to Him that it might be paid back to Him again? For from Him, and through Him, and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever, amen."

Hebrews 4 "We don't have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin. How To Handle Doubt
    Series: Christianity 101 Matthew 11:2-6

Matthew 11:2-6 "Now when John in prison heard of the works of Christ, he sent word by his disciples, and said to Him, Are You the Expected One, or shall we look for someone else? And Jesus answered and said to them, Go and report to John what you hear and see - the blind receive sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, and the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them. And blessed is he who keeps from stumbling over Me." John, Jesus goes on to say, is the greatest prophet. He said, "Of those born of women, there is none greater than John the Baptist." And so the greatest of men, the greatest of prophets, he was struggling with doubt. "Are You the Expected One, or should we look for someone else?"

    I. Be Aware Doubts May Enter Your Life

    Some reasons why doubts arise.

II. Doubts Enter When You Place Your Feelings Ahead Of Your Faith

Psalm 62: 8 "Trust in Him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us."

III. When Doubt Enters Take Time To

Examine The Truth Of The Word Of God

Isaiah 35, 3-6 "Encourage the exhausted, and strengthen the feeble; say to those with anxious heart, Take courage, fear not. Behold, your God will come with vengeance. The recompense of God will come, but He will save you. Then the eyes of the blind will be opened, and the ears of the deaf will be unstopped. Then the lame will leap like a deer, and the tongue of the dumb will shout for joy, for water will break forth in the wilderness and streams in the Araba."

Ephesians 4:22-24 “in reference to your former manner of life, you lay aside the old self, which is being corrupt ed in accordance with the lusts of deceit. Where Is The Evidence You Are A Believer?
    Series: Christianity 101
    John 15:1-11

''I am the true vine, and My Father is the vine dresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it that it may bear more fruit. You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away as a branch and dries up; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire and they are burned. If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it shall be done for you. By this is My Father glorified that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples. Just as the Father has loved Me, I have also loved you; abide in My love. If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love; just as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His love. These things I have spoken to you that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full.”

John 15, ''I am the Vine, you're the branches, you're going to bear fruit for Me.''

the fruit of the Spirit, that's inner fruit - love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness, self-control

''Let your light so shine among men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who's in heaven.''

    I. Some Believers Never Bear Fruit

''that you bear much fruit and so prove to be My disciples.''

II. How Does A Believer Bear Much Fruit?

Vs 5: ''I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me, and I in him, he bears much fruit...'' ''...for apart from Me you can do nothing.''

Abide- used 10 times in this passage

''to dwell, to live, to remain, to stay in a place, to stay in a state.''

III. How Does A Believer Abide in Jesus?

Vs 9 Jesus said, ''Just as the Father has loved Me, I have also loved you; abide in My love. Just as the Father has loved Me...''

Sum up Christianity: “Jesus loves me, this I know, for the Bible tells me so.''

''He still working on me to make me what I ought to be. It took Him just a week to make the moon and the stars and the sun and the earth and Jupiter and Mars. How loving and patient He must be. He's still working on me.''

About the Scriptures
We believe the entire Bible is the inspired Word of God and that men were moved by the Spirit of God to write the very words of Scripture. Therefore, we believe the Bible is without error.

(Psalm 119:160; Psalm 12:6-7; Proverbs 30:5; 11 Timothy 3:16; 11 Peter 1:19-21)

About God
We believe in one God who exists in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Three distinct persons but without division of nature, essence or being. Co-equal in power and glory and having a distinct ministry in God’s relation to His creation and people.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the second member of the Trinity (the Son of God) who became flesh to reveal God to man and to become the Savior of the lost world.

(Genesis 1:1; Exodus 15:11; Deuteronomy 6:4; Psalm 83:18;Matthew 28:19; John 10:30; 15, 26; Acts 5:3-4)

About Mankind
We believe that mankind was created in the image of God to have fellowship with Him but became alienated in that relationship through sinful disobedience. As a result, man is incapable of regaining a right relationship with God through his own effort alone.

(Genesis 1:27; Psalm 51:5; Romans 3:23; Romans 5:12-21; 1 Corinthians 2:14; Galatians 3:11)

About Salvation
We believe that the blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the sole basis for the forgiveness of sin. Therefore, salvation occurs only when people place their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as sufficient payment for their sin. (Ephesians 2: 8-9;We believe that the blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the sole basis for the forgiveness of sin. Therefore, salvation occurs only when people place their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as sufficient payment for their sin.

(Ephesians 2: 8-9; Titus 3:5; John 1:12; John 3:14; John 10:28-29, Romans 8:1; Philippians 1:6; 11 Peter 3:9; 1 John 2:2; 1 Corinthians 15:1-4)

We believe that mankind was created in the image of God to have fellowship with Him but became alienated in that relationship through sinful disobedience. As a result, man is incapable of regaining a right relationship with God through his own effort alone.

About Heaven and Hell
The Bible teaches there is a literal Heaven being prepared for the believers of God and a literal Hell being prepared for those who say no to the Lord Jesus Christ.

(John 14:1-6; Revelation 20:11-15; Matthew 25:41, 45-46; Luke 16:19-31)

About the Church
We believe that the church is the body of Christ, of which Jesus Christ is the head. The members of the church are those who have trusted by faith the finished work of Christ.

The local church is to be obedient to the Great Commission, to observe the ordinance of baptism, and the observance of the Lord’s Supper

The purpose of the church is to glorify God by loving Him and by making Him known to the lost world.

(Acts 2:38; Acts 16:30-31; 1 Corinthians 11:23-32; 1 Corinthians 12:13; Ephesians 1:22-23; Ephesians 4:11-15; Galatians 1:22).

Where Can I Serve?

Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of this church is our mission to the world. It begins in our own community, and spreads overseas to every nation. Church members are involved in a variety of ministries from things as simple as washing the church vehicles, to preparing the church bulletins.

Music & Drama

God-honoring worship is something we strive for. Many church members get involved in our music and drama ministry. Some play their instruments. Some are vocalists. Still others get involved in drama. These volunteers are an important part of the ministry of our church, using their talents and gifts to glorify God.

Media & Technology

Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege of this church. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for kingdom purposes. All of our weekly sermons are uploaded to our website in audio format. We also maintain an active Facebook feed for additional church communication.
